We can also advise on the acquisition of pieces, whether the collector or institution intends to acquire the object(s) from other individuals or institutions, or through an auction or gallery. Our advice will always be based on the following criteria: authenticity, age, quality, market value, exclusivity of the object, and an analysis of the investment’s viability.
Valuation, fair market insight & insurance guidance
We assist in the identification, classification, authentication and valuation of classical African art objects. Buying a work of art is an investment. We will ensure that this investment is the right one, taking into account the client’s interests, the market value of the piece, and its future economic potential.
We also advise auction houses to ensure they offer objects that have been properly appraised and valued.
